For years the Design + Diversity conference has sought to inspire, celebrate and promote diversity within the design community. As the only conference that explores, not only diversity in design, but the diversity of design, we deliver value to conference attendees by providing topics that span the full breadth of design: from architecture to advertising, user experience to social impact design, and so much more. Additionally, this conference has created a platform for diverse speakers from around the country to present their work, challenge our assumptions and build our knowledge on a wide range of topics. This event provides a safe space for critical conversations among designers, innovators, and leaders. We welcome the perspective of diversity and inclusion professionals, designers, and all enthusiasts or allies.
Attendees are responsible for making their hotel reservations and travel arrangements. Any tickets ordered after July 11, 2019, may not receive a name badge.
There will be a $50 cancellation fee for cancellations made before June 7, 2019. The Design + Diversity conference will refund 20 percent of conference fees paid for cancellations made between June 14 and July 12, 2019. No refunds will be available after July 14, 2019. After July 14, 2019, all ticket sales for pre- and post-conference events are final; no refunds will be granted.
Your registration constitutes permission to use photos, audio and video recording taken of you at the event for promotional and educational purposes in connection with the Design + Diversity conference and activities, in corresponding publications, in Design + Diversity's archives, and on the Design + Diversity website.
The conference is subject to cancellation or change. Liability is limited to funds remitted for conference registration and sponsorship fees. Speakers are subject to change without prior notice.
Companies or organizations sending 7 or more attendees receive a 10% discount on the total price of all tickets. Applies to both professional and student tickets. Please contact us at [email protected] for group discount information.
You may transfer your registration to another person by notifying us by e-mail at [email protected], no later than Friday, July 12, 2019. Your request must include your name and e-mail address as well as that of the person who will now be attending in your place.
While all speakers have confirmed their participation, we can not guarantee that the speaker list or schedule is fully final. Speakers and schedule are subject to change without notice.
