I work my magic behind the scenes because wrangling a unicorn full of creative ideas is hard work. I have a degree in Marketing and have spent the past 23+ years as a strategist, graphic designer, web developer, tech support, event planner, writer, editor, trainer, photographer, pet-sitter, furniture builder, costume designer, dancer, and artist. I’ve been running my own operation since 2005, but I’ve always had a collaborative business model. Now my main focus is on making a positive impact on the world around me through Lenspeace.

My career, thus far, has taught me that I like to help and that I like details. Not every detail, but I like organizing and strategizing about how things actually happen—particularly with creative projects. That’s what I do here at Lenspeace. I manage the day-to-day operations, production design, website maintenance, and project management. I focus on the details that keep things flowing.

I love paper—especially making things with it. I’m a Japanophile. That beautiful country is my happy place on the planet. I’m also hardcore SNL A.R.M.Y. For anyone who knows what that means, borahae!!

    The principles of a supremacy mindset have been written into our belief systems, laws, practices, and processes with a negative impact on our society and environment. As those on the receiving end of this oppression and dehumanization continue to fight for their right to exist, it is important to understand what defines this paradigm so that we can rewrite our story together and foster lasting systemic change towards a truly equitable world. If we are to create social change for a greater good, we need to understand how this mindset has been woven into business modeling, economics, resource management, and organizational leadership so we can create a future that doesn’t perpetuate the violence of our past.
